WHAT IT IS

This PTFE crankshaft seal sits at the timing/front side of the engine block, preventing high-temperature engine oil from leaking where the crankshaft protrudes to connect to timing components or pulleys. It also keeps dirt, dust, and other contaminants from entering the internal engine components. The advanced PTFE material provides durability, low friction, and resistance to rapid temperature changes.

A damaged or worn crankshaft seal can lead to oil leaks, reduced lubrication, and contamination of engine internals.
